Mother of God and Ressurection of Jesus

Resurrection was announced to the Apostles through the women who went to the tomb in the morning. We do not find Mother of God Blessed virgin Mary among them in the scripture. Next, in the receipt of the news the Apostles ran to the tomb to verify the news, but we do not find mother of God among them also. Where was she? What happened to her? Why she was not among all those people, who are recorded in the bible? Like wise we may have multiple questions in our mind.

The logical answer is that the Mother of God knew Jesus resurrection, so she did not have the necessity to verify. She believed her Son with out requesting for any evidences. If we reflect upon the first miracle of Jesus Christ, we can understand that Mother of God knew that her Son could help that marriage. So she approached him for the lack of wine in the wedding feast. When Jesus said that His time has not come, she turned to the Apostles and said do what ever he tells you to Do. She did not keep quiet when Jesus said it is not His time, but she prepared the apostles to get ready for the action. These conversation always intrigue my mind and faith. From these conversation one can understand Mother of God knew Jesus time and He was about to perform miracle to help the festival. In the same way, she did not run to the tomb, or she did not even questioned about Jesus resurrection, she knew Jesus will resurrect and she believed that Jesus has risen. She is the model for those who would believe with out signs and wonders.She is the model for all the believers.
