Value of existence for the glory of God

Some of us think that we have do great things to bring glory to God. Many of us think that we do not have time and energy to proclaim the gospel. Many of us think that we are not called to serve God or we may further think that we are not worthy of any thing in this world. Few of us think that we are too old or too young or too strong or too weak or too insignificant in this life. Like wise many thoughts of above nature could curtail our purposeful living in this world. On the other hand some of us may think that we have to do heroic activities to serve God everyday. Today, Fr. James J. Martell's homily from the pulpit of Holy Rosary Church, Memphis, TN,USA, exposed the idea of being and living for God by just being ourselves in the day today simple life. He proclaimed that God can use anybody in their live status as they are for the world and for themselves. He further explained that no limitations of human perceptions could stop God in using us for His purpose. This is a great truth which is a testament to Heavenly Father's love for us in this world. According to Fr. James, being famous or infamous, being useful in human standards or not useful in human ideas, being simple or wealthy, being healthy or sick, being active or retired all the stages of life and status of life are used by God to help each soul and the souls arround them in this world.The key is to live the call by thanking God in everyday life.Our very existence and life bring glory to God.
