Stations of the Cross 4th station: The meeting of Mother and Son

Psalm 51
"5Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place."


Father, we pray and meditate your beloved Son Jesus Christ's passions, through which you redeemed the world. We stand with the crowd who insulted Him with their words and actions. We participated with the people who offered Him to carry the cross. We identify our sins with your Son's cross. We refuse to remember the goodness and miracles we received from you in times of troubles and tribulations. We fail to carry our own crosses and follow you in this life, instead we have increased crosses for others by our words and actions.It is our sins and weakness caused Jesus to die in the cross. We unit our prayer with Immaculate Heart of Mary who accompanied her Son's way of the cross. We offer Jesus Christ's sufferings in taking upon the humiliating heavy cross and His pains and embarrassments inflicted by the human judgement and the sufferings of Immaculate heart of Mary in atonement of our sins. Have mercy on us Lord!

Infinite union of most Sacred Heart of Jesus with
Tender Immaculate Heart of Mary
Completed the alliance of Salvation
Where human and divine union
Redeemed the divine image and spirit in human
Then human became new creation in Christ the savior
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who cherished every movement of child in her womb
Suffered immense pain in heart seeing
Staggering Son under the cross
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who thrilled in ecstasy at the first site of the child
Suffered immense pain in heart seeing
Piercing Thorns spilling blood making face pitiable
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who fed the child with affectionate passion
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son suffer a thirst under rugged cross, scotching sun,lashing scourges,loosing blood
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who cuddled the child with warm compassion
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son suffer scarce of clothing exposed endure humiliation
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God

The mother who taught to talk and walk, admired his handsome majestic walk
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son stumbles and falls under the cross
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who enjoyed son’s joy and laughter
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son Groans under the pain, cross, and inflicting scourges
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who kept wake in times of sleep and sickness
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son suffer humiliation in human rejection
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who cheered in times of victory and defeat
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
Son suffer under the hands of enemies
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying
Amen, I am your servant

The mother who pondered the call all along the way
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
The Son who cannot die in nature of divinity, taking gruesome inhuman death journey
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God

The mother who provided font of love in all the way
Suffered immense pain in the heart seeing
The Son who is immortal in divine, became mortal in love of human
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying

The mother of God and the Son of God
unified in Suffering immense pain in their heart seeing
Human suffer under slavery of sins, loosing eternal life
Ransomed their heart in alliance for salvation
Stood near son one moment united in heart, mind, soul, and spirit
Speechless with inconsolable grief
caressed son with tender motherly love glace eyes
Helpless to help but fearless to trust God
Prayed in silence saying and cheering
Son your time has come the time of salvation
Wedding feast of canon lack wine, the souls thirst for salvation
Son your time has come, It is your time of victory
