Part 3: Jesus Words on the Cross: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."

In fallen nature of human, forgiveness is beyond the limits of human love. Forgiveness requires divine strength and guidance. Forgiveness is a process which begings with the knowledge the knowledge of God. During turmoils, during sufferings, during confusions, it is easy and human nature to be focused on the situation and become the repetitive victim to the problem. It is easy to set the eyes on the problem than focusing on god during trials. It is human nature to try to solve the problems in human will and ways. In this process, human soul vanishes all the juice remain with human will and remain empty and cluless in the absence of God's strength. So knowledge of God in the midst of problems begins the healing process. However, crucial the problem demands solution, how ever the narure of urgency of the demand, however crucial it may appear, however gruesome it may inflict, the soultion with out God's presence will lead to the betrayal of God and the willful abandanment of God's mercy.

In this fast paced world, forgiveness is required in our day today activities within oneself, in the family, and in the community. The begining of forgiveness is the realization of God's presence in the midst of the problem and accepting and acknowledging His presence to intervene into the situation, as He is the part of the equation truly and He is always ready to assist us in His infinite love and mercy, when we call and seek Him.

When we seek His presence in the midst of the problems, I believe our eyes are opened to the truth associated with the problems. The divine light shines into the problem and we are able to visualize the problem from various sides and dimension. We begin to understand the situation. This stage almost always immediate effect of surrender to God, which comes almost always with a sign of peace among turmoils, which is contrary to the situation. But forgiveness does not complete there. It has many more process to go.During this process, the sacrement of confession speeds up the process and aid in the process of forgiveness, which is a great gift from Mother Church.Confession has the mystical power to lift the burdern from the human heart and soul. It depicts the natural surrender of a soul to the Heavenly Father. Confession denotes that the soul takes shelter in the heart of Jesus Christ the Crucified Lord.Confession can change the hard heartedness and open the eyes to the divine love and mery. Confession can wash the crudges and bitterness in no time. Confession is a healing sacrement, which can heal the broken heart and dreams. I do not believe or buy the psychological explainations of confession, where people equate confession to counselling, even many clergy believe such notions. Confession is a divine gift and it is mystical in nature and it produce its fruit in natural and in mystical order. Confession is a fruit of Mother Church which could heal the souls. For this reason, Fr. Pio, my favorite saint next to St. Antony and St. Francis, emphasized on confession. Confession begins the act of forgiveness, which is the act of Holy Spirit in a soul and the care of Mother Church in the process of forgiveness.

Forgiveness does not stop there. The process of forgiving has many more stages.
