Mother Church's gifts to the world: Prayers: Holy Rosary

Holy Rosary is a common prayer with which every household within Catholic Church pray. Rosary is prayed as communal prayer, family prayer, and personal prayer. Saying Rosary is one among the traditions of the church. Many saints have promoted this holy prayer as personal prayer. They have placed their experiences of this prayer in their life transformation. This is a prayer, which comes under frequent serious criticism of  other denominations. They often ask us  or challenge us to show the biblical ground of this prayer?  I would consider that  question as their lack of understanding the mysteries of Holy Rosary, which are biblical meditations through biblical verses and biblical mysteries.

Many saints have recorded their experiences in praying Rosary. Majority of them have considered praying Holy Rosary as a powerful tool against enemy's tactics. Holy Rosary is a spiritual warfare prayer, which consists of the word of God, which announces the Annunciation and salvation repeatedly to the faithful circumstances and situations, which means claiming victory of this life through this prayer. In brief, I understand, when we say this prayer, we say to the world and to the enemy that we are saved through the incarnation, life, death, and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ as per Heavenly Father's will, not by our might or power. Saying this prayer declares that we belong to God not to the world. This prayer is a conscious declaration of salvation into the world. This prayer becomes a mantle in which the faithful takes shelter. Enemy hates this declaration and the mantle of Holy Rosary, which  I call it as scriptural declaration of once salvation. With all these declaration, the enemy has no power on faithful, as the faithful has declared that he has no right in them. Thus this prayer becomes the spiritual warfare prayer.

Holy Rosary is used as vocal prayer, silent prayer, meditation prayer, and it could be also used as contemplative prayer. All of the above waysof praying provide deeper understanding of God's love and salvation. As we grow in the meditation of Holy Mysteries the holy love of Father takes root in our being. As word of God takes new meaning every time when it is read and prayed, Holy Rosary brings light to the life situations when it is prayed with devotion and understanding, as it is a scritural prayer. While majority of the people pray this prayer ritually, I understand even saying this prayer ritually announces the word of God into once surroundings, which could also  bring consolation and peace to the situations, because the word of God is powerful, which never returns empty by its power, even in isolation from the understanding and consciousness of the person and mind of the faithful who uses it.

Holy Rosary prayed individually or communally among the faithful. This prayer reaches to the heart of an individual irrespective of their levels of understanding or status. In meditation of Holy Rosary's mysteries, while praying Rosary, faithful reflects upon the mysteries of Salvation. There are four sets of mysteries put forth by the Church for the faithful to meditate. Joyful, luminous, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries. They reveal the majesty of salvation, as faithful meditate on this prayer. As we pray this prayer, biblical events take life in our reality. How comfortable it would be, if a faithful know, understand, and experience during this prayer in meditation, all the characters involved in the biblical mysteries ( I understand All the mysteries are biblical not just tradition, as I place them in their context) join  in live in the life situations,  when we pray and meditate. I find a commonality in all the mysteries, which is the presence of  Holy Trinity, Holy Angels, Holy Family, and Mother Church including each one of us in this prayer.

Let us pray daily Rosary!
