Christmas Journey: Joseph & Mary
Angels and Joseph were on a journey in the year of faith, the year of 2012, in the season of Advent into the world and universe. St. Joseph and the Angels have settled on a discussion topic of Angels guidance as God's messengers and God send guardians for the faithfuls journey. It was second Sunday of the Advent, St. Joseph speaks on his journey to Bethlehem with Mary comparing to the journey of Church in the year of faith. The purpose of Joseph Journey was in his days to enroll the family in the earthly kingdom census, but God's ordained plan was the birth of Messiah in time and space as it was prophesied. There is meaning for every birth in this earth. There is a purpose for all lives in this world and universe. Every journey has a purpose, meaning, destiny in earthly life and God has His plan for each one of us. None of us are left alone or none of us are insignificant. Every being and non being in god's creation has a purpose. The purpose is God's love for them. God protects His creation by sending His Angels all around them.
While they were discussing, they heard a church bell which rings every hour and announces the presence of God's sanctuary nearby. They traveled towards the Church bell and they reached a beautiful Church, situated at the main road of a city in USA. They arrived at the church parking lot, when the Angels checked their GPS for the destination and informed St. Joseph. Another Angel was checking the tweet message from Arc Angel Michael sending His Christmas Message to this Parish. Noticing all their activities St. Joseph said these days you have electronic devices as Angels of communication in my days Angels guided our decisions and Journey by appearing in the dreams and prayers. Angels look excited about today's story, as the story is centered around their services.
Angels were in a state of excitement when they arrived to this Church. They updated all the details of this church to St. Joseph. They bragged about the beauty of the Holy Family Statue, which is situated at the right side front yard of the Church entrance, to which the faithfuls are drawn to. St. Joseph visited the statue and stood there in silence looking at Mary's and baby Jesus's serine peaceful look in his embrace. He recollected and turned towards the Angels and said, " Surely the sculpt has captured the love of the family and it looks very good." Angels replied, " this statue is not just a religious symbol, it is a needed message for today's youth and the the families, as the Church is travelling through one of the dangerous periods of history, where and when the sanctity of Marriage and the structure and composition the family are under attack bu the world." Angels further explained that having Holy Family statue in the main entrance speaks to the faithfuls and youth about the sanctity of marriage and family in volumes of faith. And it is a testament to human creation, dignity, sacrament, salvation, above all heavenly Father's care for the family. St. Joseph agreed and said, " Do you know, Family is the first sacrament celebrated by God Himself and it is only sacrament celebrated in human innocence before the origin sin." Wow!!! Angels exclaimed with thousands of light bulbs going on all once at a time. They said, that the message from St.Joseph was powerful.
Then they celebrated the new statue of the founder Priest of Knights of Columbus, which is newly installed at the left side front yard of the church, adjacent to the main entrance. They were curious at reading the names of the priests and Monsignor's name on a tablet just under the statue. While they were discussing, they
highlighted the glory of priesthood call. St. Joseph was in a deep contemplation, while Angels were discussing. Then after a pause, he drew Angels' attention to the meaning of the presence of Family Statue on one side which is the love and plan of God for human, and the symbol of priesthood, which is the guardian of the family and it is a redemptive call, which celebrates all other redemptive sacraments of the church to feed, nourish, reconcile, the family through the call and gifts of Mother Church. He admired the conceptual meaning of those statues and their significance in the faithfuls.
Then the guardian Angel of Monsignor, who always appear majestic, brisk, cheerful, welcoming, and caring, noticed the guests, while He was arranging the Monsignor's show case situated at the Church hallway. This show case holds the seasonal displays of faith. This is one of the Monsignor's communication creativity to teach the children, youth, faithful the faith. By monsignor direction, his guardian Angel was busy in arranging the show case, when he saw St. Joseph and the Angels at the Church Entrance. He rushed towards them and welcomed them with his warm smile and usual cheer and extraordinary care. St. Joseph and Angels were happy and excited to see Monsignor's Angel. They went with him to see the show case, where they saw the spectacular and beautiful Christmas Advent wreath and many Angels all around the wreath.
Monsignor's Angel welcomed St. Joseph and other Angels into the Church, where they discussed the faith matters and Christmas plans. St. Joseph admired the families in the church and the priesthood travelling with these families through mother Church Journey in this world, while Angels watch over them through out their journey, in God's command. He also thanked God for the gift of the Church and the Angels and for their services.
