Christmas Journey: St. Joseph and Mary Travel to Bethlehem
Holy Angels and St. Joseph were in discussion about his travel to Bethlehem. St. Joseph was explaining about the necessity of travel in enrolling his family name in Bethlehem, according to the government decree. He was excited to share the care among the travelers for each other during his travel. Many elderly, children, invalid, and pregnant women were among them. The relatives stayed together on the way helping each other in the travel. They shared stories, food, and shelter with each other on the way under the starry sky. In reflecting his travel, St. Joseph drew the attention of Angels to the charity that prevailed among each other. In addition, he took the Angels to an orphanage, where hundreds of children were found very happy. They were looking happy and in some what celebration mood. Angels approached them to inquire the reason for their happiness. The children said that they were to receive Christmas gifts from their sponsors whom they do not know for Christmas. They were looking excited and reported that they will receive new dress and gifts from their sponsors today. St. Joseph explained to the Angels, there are many well to do wealthy all around the world, express their charity during Christmas season. It is their expression of good will brings happiness to these children who have no one to care for. Similar charity events are common all over the world serving elderly, destitute, sick and abandoned children.Christmas season is season of charity.

Now, St. Joseph and Angels traveled among the cities of USA, a land of freedom, liberty, prosperity, innovations, science, and technology, a model of the modern world. Charity is a well known quality of America. They went to a city in USA, which is situated at the banks of mighty Mississippi river, named Memphis. The mother Church flourishes in faith here by the testaments of defending faith. Angels and St. Joseph took notice of a group of faithful's procession on foot, silently walking on the walkway of the white station road towards poplar junction. They were following Most Blessed Sacrament carried by priests in prayer to defend the unborn children. They carried the Eucharist, the word of God on the roads of Memphis to pray for the mothers, families, and for unborn children. There were elderly, children, families, religious, youth, and even pregnant women were there walking in the procession. They stood on the side walk at the poplar and white station as witness to the defending faith. St. Joseph and Angels witnessed their faith, in their faith they saw the mother Church defending faith for those who cannot defend themselves. Like Memphis, many faithful in USA and all over the world, joining Church in expressing defending faith to protect the vulnerable, which is a valid charity for the cause of human dignity.
