Angels on rounds throughout the night on the roads and dwellings among human habitation. They hear church bells chiming from very far indicating the time for early morning Holy Mass. They reach to the priest residence nearby, where they saw the priest in morning prayers in the preparation for the Mass.They hear the chants of monks rising from the far mountainous residences and the sweet melodies of religious men and women rising above the convents and cloisters reaching to the heavens. They also pay attention to the residential areas lighting up one by one with individual and family prayers of the working men and women rising with conscientious of God's presence and giving few moments in praising God when they rise to lead the busy day. Totally there is a presence of gentle aroma around the world which comes from the prayers and praises rises from the hearts and residences of human, which rise to fill the air and spread a mantle of prayerful aroma arou...

Saints have shown the model of life which has been illuminated with God's presence. Living in God's presence means that a human subjects himself voluntarily to the will of God, while he lives in this earth. One who lives with the strength derived from the presence of the Lord gives glory to God in all his achievements, and consider, acknowledge, pray, and surrender his own weaknesses to God as an opportunity for demonstration of God's mercy and strength in his life. In this state of mind or attitude, glory and defeat in the life have the same value for the saints because both brings forth God's glory. Living in God's presence is an extension of church experience in to the day today life situations. This is a deliberate action where the man invites heavenly Father's presence in his day to activities. This is an extension of heavenly experience on earth. Mother Church's Christmas journey in the year of faith is a testament of faith and a proclamation of divine love and salvation of humanity on earth and in universe as it was before and as it will be for ever. Church waits on the faithfuls with the charity of prayers and holy sacrifice ( Holy Mass), through which the realization of proclamation of spoken and written word of God, incarnated word of God, and resurrected word of God in the world, is achieved by the power of the Holy Spirit in Union with faithful. Every family needs the transformation experience which comes through the sacrament of Holy matrimony. In wedding function at Canaan, wine was an essential component of a wedding. When there was lack of wine the families were worried and they feared of shame. Similarly, I reflect, the wine, symbolizes the saving blood of Jesus, saving grace of God in the family. When there is a lack of  acknowledging God's presence within the families, there may be darkness within the family, which would mask the gifts and fruits of the families. Acknowledging and seeking God's help and His presence within the family is the first step of transformation. In the light of first miracle, there were two different things are seen. Families are called to live a discipleship life. Family is the first secular priesthood ordained by heavenly Father in Garden of Eden. Family role has inherited the natural role of discipleship to Holy Trinity from the beginning of its origin. Disciple life is to follow Jesus. Disciple is not alone. Disciple is always associated with his master or leader or guru. In the same way, disciple represents his believes and the ideologies and believes what he has learned. Disciple is some body who devoted represent his master and who is a student to a teacher. The ministry of the disciple reflects the master not the self. Individual uses his charisma and talents to spread the good news, but the outcome is spreading the message of God not self agenda. In discipleship life the disciple get the new identity.  I continue to reflect upon the family's discipleship life in the context of Nativity mystery. I extend my thoughts into the first miracle of Jesus. Disciple is a person who follows Jesus. Here I view the family unit as a disciple of Jesus, because in Holy Matrimony, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the couple is united with Holy Matrimony and the couple transform into one body, mind, spirit, and soul. In Holy Matrimony, family becomes the disciple of Jesus, as in mystical status and in the secular status, two bodies become one, two souls unite as one, two hearts join as one, two minds join in determination to function as one, and two systems of families come in union as one family. All the families are called to become a disciple of Jesus in carrying good news to the world and to all creations. Within this discipleship way of life there are many kinds of calls consisted. Some families are called to live an ordained apostolic priesthood life example of this call is Deacons. Other families are called to live a natural discipleship life, which is a secular priesthood life. Secular priesthood life is a natural call of life of the family by its functions, roles, and significance to the world. However, discipleship life is a follower life, which needs a person to follow.
