Above timeline reveals acheivements on both constructive and destructive aspects. In this peaceless century, the interaction of Mother Church through her gifts went beyond just existence. The essence and gifts of Mother Church permeated  all levels of human structures and associations.Mother Church unified the human relation beyond all the divisions including faith and creed. Millions and multitudes of  Mother Church's children shed their blood and life in the altar of this earthly century as a redemptive sacrifice proclaiming Jesus love to the world. Multitudes of unknown saints lived through this century on their kness and rosary. Marian apparitions were abundant in this century more than any century. Apostolic mission of Blessed Virgin Mary's announcement of peace, prayer, and penence was the consolation to the Church. In this century, there were also many visible interventional peace seekers rose from the womb of Mother Church, as leaders. Among them most visible figures are Blessed Mother Teresa of Culcutta and Blessesd Pope John Paul II. They were saints of 20th century. God's providencial blessings of this century. In my view, Both had one mission bringing peace to the world. While Pope John Paul focused on proclaiming peace to the humanity, Mother Teresa served to bring peace to the poor and helpless destitutes, which prclaimed the dignity of human life. Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa were action saints who applied Mother Church prcepts and teachings to effect the world. Both were fealess souls who were designed and called by Holy Spirit to lead the world of their time. Both influenced the world by their words, actions, prayers,  role model, and leadership. Mother Church influenced and consoled the world through her saints throughout the century, among them most visble historical gifts were Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Pope John Paul II.

"Historical Importance of Mother Teresa: Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Catholic order of nuns dedicated to helping the poor. Begun in Calcutta, India, the Missionaries of Charity grew to help the poor, the dying, orphans, lepers, and AIDS sufferers in over a hundred countries. Mother Teresa's selfless effort to help those in need has caused many to regard her as a model humanitarian. Dates: August 26, 1910 -- September 5, 1997" ( Jennifer Rosenberg)

"John Paul II (Latin: Ioannes Paulus PP. II, Italian: Giovanni Paolo II, Polish: Jan Paweł II), sometimes called John Paul the Great, born Karol Józef Wojtyła (Polish: [ˈkarɔl ˈjuzɛf vɔjˈtɨwa]; 18 May 1920, Wadowice, Republic of Poland – 2 April 2005, Vatican City), reigned as Pope of the Catholic Church from 1978 until his death in 2005. He was the second-longest serving Pope in history and the first non-Italian since 1523.
John Paul II was acclaimed as one of the most influential leaders of the 20th century. He was instrumental in ending communism in his native Poland and eventually all of Europe.[1] John Paul II significantly improved the Catholic Church's relations with Judaism, Islam, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Anglican Communion. Though criticised by progressives for upholding the Church's teachings against artificial contraception and the ordination of women, and by traditionalists for his support of the Church's Second Vatican Council and its reform, he was also widely praised for his firm, orthodox Catholic stances.
He was one of the most-travelled world leaders in history, visiting 129 countries during his pontificate. As part of his special emphasis on the universal call to holiness, he beatified 1,340 people and canonised 483 saints, more than the combined tally of his predecessors during the preceding five centuries. He named most of the present College of Cardinals, consecrated or co-consecrated a large number of the world's past and current bishops, and ordained many priests.[2] A key goal of his papacy was to transform and reposition the Catholic Church. His wish was "to place his Church at the heart of a new religious alliance that would bring together Jews, Muslims and Christians in a great [religious] armada".[3][4] 19 December 2009, John Paul II was proclaimed venerable by his successor Pope Benedict XVI and was beatified on 1 May 2011" Source: Wikipedia
