Year of Faith Christmas Journey: Angels Interview St. Joseph's faith


But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1, 20:21)


God put His Angels incharge of Me
Angels went to see Joseph the foster father of Jesus
Interviewing his faith in leading the holy family
He in his speaking
Reflecting and recounting:
I was an ordinary man
When I heard the news of incarnation
Doubts prevailed over me
Shame of betrayal all over me
Humiliation threatened within me                                                 
I died within myself
Questioning the will of God
In accepting Mary
Who had virgin incarnation
Nightmares were my sleeps
Fighting restless heart
But in that moment in silent
In that moment
Only thing crossed my mind
I knew my God
The God I love and serve
I knew His mercy
I knew my God would                                          
Never let me down
As He knew my heart’s desire
If this is His will
His name will be glorified
In my humility
In this faith
I made decision to obey
God’s will in leading Holy family
When I was clarified
My genuine understanding
Through Holy angel
There I saw He put His angels
In charge of me
Then I turned to Virgin Mary
To inquire her bravery
In the faith she lived
In carrying the incarnated word
Virgin Mary in speaking
Reflecting and recounting
 
                                                                                                         
The moment of annunciation
In vivid recall in experience
I was innocent knew not the world
Knew not any man
Happy child I was
God fearing Child I was
At the angel announcement
Startled I was to the shock
Millions of questions haunted my thoughts
Multitudes of doubts wandered in my mind
Above all societal rejection thoughts
Sent trailers of humiliation
Stoning destinations
Shaming punishments of that time
Went as a clear picture in front of my eyes
Thinking of parents and engaged Joseph
Frightened my heart
Sending nightmares in my life
Stormy life I tread
At that moment
In that moment
Only thing crossed my mind
I knew my God
The God I love and serve
I knew His mercy
I knew my God would                                          
Never let me down
As He knew my heart’s desire
Even if I have to die in humiliation
His name will be glorified
In this faith
I said Amen I am your servant
There I saw He put His angels                                                                                                         
In charge of me
