Year of Faith: Church journey of thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a popular festival in united Stated states of America. Thanking God was the basic tenet of thanksgiving holiday in USA to begin with, for the gift of new land, new produce,  and new life in the pilgrims journey. It is so fitting, that this holiday also also marks the beginning of Christmas journey in USA. Everywhere you turn, from the business to the household, you would find the symbolic lights, decorations, musics creating an ambient atmosphere of Christmas is so vivid in this land. From my childhood, this season is my favorite season of all the seasons a year cycles  in. It is also my habit to enter this season with intercessions, anticipations, and thanksgiving. It is the most beautiful season on earth for any faithful. It is the season, when we remember and thank God, for His faithfulness and love towards humanity and the world, by His incarnation into humanity, emptying His throne for the love of each one of us. It is so mind blowing to think that God would sacrifice His only begotten Son just for each one of us, and it is reassuring and elevating the soul, to rise with hope and faith in realization that God would do anything to make us happy, if it is good for us, when He could empty His throne to become one among us. He also continues to live among us through the Mother Church on Earth. This very fact lay foundation for our faith and faith journey as pilgrims in this life. Season of anticipation, season of hope, season of joy, season of promise, season of delivery, season of peace, season of celebrations etc.... One could describe Christmas season in many ways as it unfolds in their individual life. But there is a common theme for every Christmas is that the theme of Thanksgiving. This year, Mother Church celebrates year of Faith with thanksgiving heart, as she journey this world with her bridegroom the risen Lord and her Children and Universe as one family, towards eternity.

In God we Trust,
In God we stand
In God we live
In God we move
In God we prosper
In God we function
In God we rise
In God we rest
In God we sow
In God we reap
In God we gather
To God our Thanks
To the Trinity we belong
To the eternity we march
To the heaven we journey
In the union with Mother Church
We Thank you Father!
