Stories from my father Mr. Maria Packiam on Apostle Thomas in India: A oral tradition

Apostle Thomas was traveling and preaching gospel all over India. He allegedly had a special gift of languages. India is a place of multilingual and multicultural particularly in those days of Apostle Thomas, India was a vibrant trading center and contained the melting pots of multi-cultures. Apostle Thomas where ever he traveled He used to speak in the regional language without any preparation or learning process.People at that time were amazed at his lingual ability and the special gift of languages. Is this phenomenon is the part of gift of tongues? Unquestionably its was a phenomenal quality he had while he lived in India that helped in spreading good news in India.He was a orator everyday people came from everywhere to hear him speak.
