"Come after me": Family as a disciple : Minister to all creation: Salvation was revealed to all creations in nativity of Son of God
Salvation was revealed to all creations in nativity mystery. Creator came down to meet the creatures of His love in Jesus Christ, who revealed His eternal presence in Holy Family. As I reflect upon the nativity mystery, I ponder upon the salvation of all creations. In the first family fall, not just humanity was corrupted by the lies of the enemy, but also all creations became corrupted as human family turned their dominance on all creation given by God to the enemy. In creation of human family, all creations were given to them with the mandate to subject and guard them. In human family's fall, not just they lost their divine glory and eternal life, but also they lost their dominance over the creations. The creations were neglected without the human oversee on their welfare. The creations became the conduit for the enemy through human sin.
In nativity mystery, I see the liberation joy of all creations. By the conceptual structure of creation, all creation contains the image of word of God, as they came into being through the word of God. If we analyze the creation account of Holy Bible, we can understand that everything was created by God's word, and I reflect, therefore all creations contain the image of word of God, who is the Son of God, who is the second person of holy Trinity, who is the origin of all creation. But when God created the Human, the creation activity contained His word, action, imprint of His Image and likeness in the human, and imparting His spirit into the human. Therefore, I reflect human in his original created status contained the image and likeness of Holy Trinity( The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). In this status he was ordained to rule over the creation.
In human sin, his ability to understand the creations, and ability to oversee the creations became a neglected mission. Heavenly Father entrusted entire creation into the human hands. He gave him freedom to rule them and govern them. But as the nominal effect of sin, fear crept into the human heart, they were afraid of creatures than ruling them or they became slave to them. In this status, the common denominator between human and all creations is the image of word of God, the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity, as creations bear His signature as they came through the word of God.
In incarnation of the Son of God into human flesh was the salvation act of human and all creations, as He is the mediator between human and the Holy Trinity, and He is the mediator between the human and all creations, as all things created came through the word of God, and human contain the image of Holy Trinity by creation, which included the image of Son of God as well. As I reflect this, I see the beauty of Holy purpose and Holy necessity of Son of God's love in carnation and becoming human ( who redeemed the image of Holy Trinity among human and restored His eternal reign over all creations in His human and divine nature) in liberation and salvation of all creations including human. I reflect through nativity mystery that the love of being revealed in the Son of God, the word of the Father's Holy incarnation. In Him, through Him, and With Him all creations are liberated to the end of the world through the presence of Church, Families, and creations.
