The womanhood body changes
As she journeyed into motherhood
She contemplated the child face
Million times in her dreams
She walked slowly
And she talked gently
As not to disturb the womb
She was thrilled
On her first movement of her baby
She cherished the baby movements
In her wake and sleep
She talked to the baby in the womb
Little mother secret sweet talks
Whispered bedtime baby stories
All along her journey
With baby Jesus in womb


She counted the days
and kept the wake on child's arrival
She saw her growth
And she took delight in her changes
And In her womb's growth
She changed from the girlhood to womanhood
And she transformed into motherhood
As she journeyed with her womb

Now she is in full term
Any time the child could arrive
Expectant mother she is
Virgin mother she is
Joy, wonder, and fear in her heart
Long journey she tread

Saddled Donkey ride
Occasional walking relieved her back
Jerks of ride inducing
Traction on the body
Uncomfortable journey
Mary journey to Bethlehem
Fear of pains one side
Tiresome journey other side
Relentless walking Joseph
Caring heart Mary
Leaned on Josephs shoulder
As she refreshed in the journey
Mary and Joseph shared
Optimistic stories
On the way
Planning the child birth
In anticipation of any moment
