We are the shepherds
The shepherds of Bethlehem
We are the Shepherds
Who saw the Angels from Heaven
We are the shepherds
Who saw the Baby Jesus at the Manger.

We reached the Bethlehem
Farmers were setting out to the fields
We greeted them cheer
Saying, "The baby king the Lord the savior is born
We were send by an angel to see Him"
Delighted farmers received the news
Followed us to the manger

There came the shepherds of the Bethlehem
With their flocks of cattle and sheep
We greeted them and shared the good news
Joyful shepherds followed us to the Bethlehem manger
They became the host guide for us to seeking the manger

There came the merchants of Bethlehem
On our way
We greeted them to share the good news
They welcomed us and showed our way

Then came the workers of Bethlehem
On their way to work
On our way
We greeted them to share the news
They greeted us with cheer

There came the streets and markets of Bethlehem
Where men and women were at work
In their early morning routines
We greeted them and shared the good news
They received us with cheer and wonder

There we came through the streets of the houses
Early rising children began their play on the streets
We greeted them with cheer
As they jumped in happiness
They became curious at our arrival
They followed us to the manger.

We reached the manger of Bethlehem
Where Joseph, Mary, and Baby king
Were resting
We arrived to the sight of the Baby king
We waited for Joseph
to open the door of the simple herds' place
Where the manger is located.

Our excitement took its peak
Our joy became our breath
Our happiness multiplied in multitudes
The journey has found its meaning
The expectation has met its fruit
The anticipation has its pay off
We went near the door to be opened
And we knocked on the door
