Christmas Journey: Shepherds

"today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12“This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
      14“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."

We are the shepherds
The shepherds of Bethlehem
We are the Shepherds
Who saw the Angels from Heaven
We are the shepherds
Who saw the Baby Jesus at the Manger.

Angels proclaimed!
The birth of the savior
The Christ the savior
The Son of God!
The Baby Jesus
Was born in City of David!
The Bethlehem!


We asked many questions in our hearts
Happy and excited as we are
Knew not any sign
How do we know the Christ the Child?
How to seek and know the Savior?
We wondered at heart.

Angels continued in excitation
Proclaimed, " This will be the sign for you"
Baby is born
Wrapped in clothes
Sleeping in a manger

As the angel proclaimed,
The heaven descended on earth
Celestial lights brightened the earth
Choirs of Angels sang Chorus
Trumpets echoed every where
Angels sang, " Glory to God on highest!
And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."

We could not resist the joy
The happiness filled our body
The peace embraced our souls
The joy captured our hearts
No more to wait
No more to stand still
No more to slumber
Rapture captured our being
At the sound of the Angels!

We were moved in our hearts, mind, and souls
We shepherds of the herd
Looked towards Bethlehem
We saw the bright star
Resting on high above the Bethlehem
We walked towards the star
We gathered the herds
And marched towards
Bethlehem, The City of David!
