In father's house, there is nurturing presence of God: Family
" I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising him. I will praise Him for what He has done; may all who are oppressed listen and be glad!
Proclaim with me the Lord's greatness; let us praise his name together!" Psalm 34
Every man and women is surrounded by the nurturing presence of God. In the beginning of a human life, the nurturing presence of God is reflected through the parental love and protection for their child.Parents or the fostering system for a child brings the divine love to the child. No man can decide for himself about his birth. No one can choose their biological parents before their birth. Biological parenthood is a gift from God and the biological parents are God's nurturing presence.Therefore a relationship between a child and a parent is divine destiny for a man designed by God. Same theme or explanation can be applied to siblings too. There are numerous fostering parents in this world who excel and exceed the expectations to love the adapted children. Their love and sacrifice is even more powerful gift from God.
There is no match on this earth to the love , sacrifice, and desirable blessings of a good parent to a child, which is the gift from God for a man. In the same way, the first challenging love and nurturing environment, is created by the siblings, which is an extension and stepping stone to the world experience. In the bundled and bonded system, which is called as family is the first nurturing presence of God. It elaborates and extends as friends, elders, teachers, and relations, associations, work place, community, and society to provide continuous father's presence in the earthly events. No man is an island. No child is orphan when another human being is nearby. Majority of the times God's presence is revealed through fellow human beings, even some times through totally unknown people.
In the previous blog, I have alluded an idea that the founder, provider and protector of family is God the Heavenly Father Himself, which comes from Genesis chapter 1 & 2. Therefore, Holy marriage constitutes a man, woman and the Holy Spirit. So within a family, God fearing couple do acknowledge God's presence in their happiness and sorrows. This knid of family provides and reflects the nurturing presence of God for the children. Because, in this family, the parents consider children welfare as their welfare, and they will be ready to sacrifice and compromise the differences for their children welfare. There are multitudes of family live this saintly life through out the world. The family which acknowledge God's presence within the family, will love each other, and forgive each other for the reverence of God ( Ephesian chapter 5). Here now the parents are not just man and woman but they are one body.
