Railway Track walk

Once in the spring
When the joy season brings
Little toddler and a mother
Walked on the railway track
Stories of many kinds
Chatting of the toddler
Stole mothers heart
Setting eyes on son’s talk
Out of baby’s mouth
Faith comes true
Little toddler said
Jesus saved us mummy
Yes, Son said the mother
Heavenly Father’s presence
Brings protection

Turnings many
Little boy enjoyed walking
Near the rail track
Mother and son talk
Continued on the way
Mother lost her heart
In her
Excited walk of toddler
Mother lost her guard
In the talk of toddler
Out of baby’s mouth
Faith comes true
Little toddler said
Jesus saved us mummy
As he wiped her tears
With his tender fingers
Yes, Son said the mother
Heavenly Father’s presence
Brings protection

Two ways railway track
Siren near alarm
On the blind, bend track
Suddenly appearing train
Sudden panicked mother
Ran towards the son
Gathered the son in her arms
Frozen in the panic
Seeing the train pass by
Just near her walk way
Mother’s heart was about to stop
Held her child tight to her chest
My son my son
She cried repeated
Out of baby’s mouth
Faith comes true
Little toddler said
Jesus saved us mummy
As he wiped her tears
With his tender fingers
Yes, Son said the mother
Heavenly Father’s presence
Brings protection

Stunned mother numbed
Pale face and shocked heart
What if…… where if……. when if….
Repeated in her head
Of the hairline escape
Tearing eyes fluent
Kissing son constant
Whisper voice constant
My son my son
What could have happened?
If we didn’t hear the train
The happy toddler
Words to the mom with the
Cheerful smile, which
She never forgot until today
Jesus saved us mummy
As he wiped her tears
With his tender fingers
Yes, Son said the mother
Heavenly Father’s presence
Brings protection
