Heavenly Father elected Holy Father
From the days of his womb
To this very day
He Entrusted a great responsibility
He carved him all along his way

with a listening ear and yeilding child like heart
To be a sign of our times

He anointed him ornated him
With knowledge, courage, and wisdom
He walked with him through his marvelous life
With divine office call
He gave him the highest office of all on earth
He preserved him for this very day
To be a sign of our times
