Third Station: I have caused you to Fall

Psalm 51

"3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge."

Third Station:Jesus First fall

Father, we pray and meditate your beloved Son Jesus Christ's passions, through which you redeemed the world. We stand with the crowd who insulted Him with their words and actions. We participated with the people who offered Him to carry the cross. We identify our sins with your Son's cross. We refuse to remember the goodness and miracles we received from you in times of troubles and tribulations. We fail to carry our own crosses and follow you in this life, instead we have increased crosses for others by our words and actions.It is our sins and weakness caused Jesus to fall. We offer Jesus Christ's sufferings in taking upon the humiliating heavy cross and His pains and embarrassments inflicted by the fall in atonement of our sins. Have mercy on us Lord!

When I fall under pride,

on a glory ride,

become a foundation-less tower,

that waiting to fall,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross.

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under vanity,

upon a vain glory beauty,

became a scentless flower

that waiting to fade,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under self pity,

On a chain of self consciousness,

became a selfish machine,

that waiting to become none,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under the manipulations,

On the hands of achievements,

became arrogant that know no grace,

waiting to become blinded,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under the flesh,

On the trend of compromises,

became sick that know no cure,

waiting for your judgment,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under pretense,

On the chains of Hippocratic,

became a scandal that block faith,

waiting to be revealed on judgment,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under perfection,

On the chains of illusions,

became a scruples that know not thy mercy,

Waiting to fall short of glory,

Lord I have caused you to fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.



When I fell under my own decision burdens,

On a chain of self control,

became the prisoner of my own ego,

waiting knowing no way out hope,

Lord I have caused you fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.


When I fall under the illusion of self help,

On a chain of mere handwork with out grace,

became a slave of responsibilities,

Waiting know not your grace led plans,

Lord I have caused you fall under the cross,

Have mercy on me.
